Trying my best to navigate life's twists while enjoying photography, music, wood working, golf, reading, traveling and hiking, cooking and other adventures on my bucket list. Mark Knopfler is making life better "One deep River". Pay attention to life's details. We/Us

Good evening tooters. Today certainly turned out to be more full than anticipated, but isn’t that just like me 😁. I did a lovely stretch routine for my back this morning & it was wonderful & did exactly what I needed it to. With feeling so good afterwards I took myself off for a 6.5km walk around the river not getting home close to lunch time. It was a great walk, so quiet - one cyclist, one other walker & that was it. Then I tackled the freezers. I pulled the old one out of the laundry & into an area to clean it out, but before I put the new one in place I also moved the washing machine to get underneath that too & scrubbed the floor underneath. So much dust & grime - sparkling now 😊. Pushed the washing machine back, put the new little freezer in place & filled it with what was left in the old one. Then cleaned the old one & manoeuvred it outside & onto the front porch. Rang my friend who picked it up within the hour. I was worried I’d twang my back again - but I didn’t! I will sleep well because I’m already tired 🥱. #BusyDay
So I’m saying goodnight. Enjoy the #Music of Pink with Trustfall - G’nite, have a great evening. #SleepWell.

@tomgauld.bsky.social petition to have all scientific papers be written in either passive-aggressive or conspiracy voice from now on 😂
@misjavanlaatum @tomgauld.bsky.social
After the third round of reviewer edits, believe me the voice becomes plenty passive-aggressive.

YouTube voice:

Whatcha gonna wanna do is,
your gonna wanna go ahead and, like, collect, like samples,
then,
whatcha gonna wanna do is, like,
your gonna wanna go ahead and, like, go ahead and test the samples

@tomgauld.bsky.social Now I'm going to write everything in haiku style

A cartoon was prepared for scientists to peruse. The methodology was made using sampling of methods used by scientists craving recognition.

It was recognized that the passive voice, de rigueur for most journals, no longer suffices to obfuscate voluminous self-esteem of experts in scientific autoaggrandizement. A Conspiracy Voice was for the first time identified. Anonymous reviewers use it to devastate those receiving more approbation than the reviewer.

@tomgauld.bsky.social great, but I think you forgot to put quotation marks around the word "scientists" in the "conspiracy voice" one
