I've thrown Ubuntu onto my trusty old Surface Pro 6 and installed the surface-linux drivers to get it running touch. It's okay. VLC video seems choppy. Screen rotation didn't work. Touch keyboard activation is wonky. Restoring Win11 while the tablet is still supported as I've been surprised by the most recent updates keeping the system running pretty smoothly. "Installed Linux" ticked off the yearly checklist. Not ready to distro-hop and tweak my way to the perfect Win11 replacement.......yet.
