One of my favourite memories from the last Iceland trip is from the night we drove back from the puffin rock to our accommodation. As we reached the height of the mountain, suddenly we found ourselves driving above the clouds. It was magical. Iceland is magical.

She was deported to Auschwitz from Kazerne Dossin in Mechelen on 31 July 1943. She did not survive.
