Weird Tales vol. 21, no. 6 (June 1933)

My version of Conan is the one brought to me by Marvel comics, mostly by John Buscema but incomparably by Barry Windsor-Smith.

It's always weird to remember that the stories date from the 1930s when I see something like this. Also damn, even for Brundage, this is pretty explicit.

Saw 'Róisín Murphy' in the opening credits for an Irish show and got really stoked thinking it was the extremely stylish musician. Turned out it's another Róisín Murphy. Booooo.

@dan i made the horrible mistake of adopting a network switch without any gradual introduction procedures. by the end of the night, my existing cat, thinking it was defending its territory, had unfortunately taken the switch's life with a swift crunch to the vitals. the switch had no way to fight back, as it is optimized for connecting network devices, not combat with deadly animals such as the common house cat, and thus quickly went down without putting up a fight at all. i quickly rushed the networking equipment to the veterinarian, however it was already long gone by then. even though i only had the switch for one night, i had already grown attached to it. i decided to have the switch's remains cremated and spread out among the network closet, causing my co-workers to ask what the fuck i was doing, leading to my eventually firing due to my erratic behavior.
