The PoLo logger app is really good. I've done now about 150 QSOs with that and it works great.

Just alone the reference search / self-spotting feature is a killer. Makes things SO easy. This weekends two day rally was also a POTA reference so I could actually spot my self with click of a button for both WWFF and POTA.

And yet alone it is free, open source AND amazingly good app for being written in React ;)

These new generative models are going to be extremely convincing, and the idiots in charge of these companies think they can use guardrails to stop it being used inappropriately. Oh, and there's been a lot of fun with new self hosted toys again!!

To aid with our Master Thesis writing, we set up our own #jupyter #jupyterlab server for data vis.
There's also #codeserver and our own #forgejo instance to always have access to the writing and code~

And did you know Code Server works great with the #latexworkshop plugin, including PDF preview?
You can completely ditch Overleaf and their horrible 150€/year plan (which you need for git and bibtex!!)

According to #amsat satellite status tracker, #hamradio #satellite #IO117 has been in beacon only mode for just under a day now. I haven't seen any announcement about it (and the amsat BB is also quiet), perhaps this is nothing unusual. I have a niggling fear that, perhaps, this might be the beginning of its decommissioning. Does anyone know any more?
