The PoLo logger app is really good. I've done now about 150 QSOs with that and it works great.
Just alone the reference search / self-spotting feature is a killer. Makes things SO easy. This weekends two day rally was also a POTA reference so I could actually spot my self with click of a button for both WWFF and POTA.
And yet alone it is free, open source AND amazingly good app for being written in React ;)

Read the Fine Manual Visit the Forums PoLo, short for Portable Logger, is a mobile application for amateur radio operators to log their contacts on the go. It is designed to be simple, fast, and easy to use, with a focus on the most important features for logging contacts. It supports multiple activation types such as: POTA - Parks On The Air, SOTA - Summits On The Air, WWFF - Worldwide Flora & Fauna, Field Day, Winter Field Day, and many more.
Oh, and there's been a lot of fun with new self hosted toys again!!
To aid with our Master Thesis writing, we set up our own #jupyter #jupyterlab server for data vis.
There's also #codeserver and our own #forgejo instance to always have access to the writing and code~
And did you know Code Server works great with the #latexworkshop plugin, including PDF preview?
You can completely ditch Overleaf and their horrible 150€/year plan (which you need for git and bibtex!!)
Good stuff <3
🛰So cute! It's just begging for a cuddle and a saucer of milk! 🥰

Watch this satellite obliterate the Kuiper Belt object moving through this set of images.
The dumb satellite is so bright that our auto-detect software threw out the whole stack, because it destroyed the average brightness.
It pisses me off to no end that my taxpayer-funded telescope time is now less and less effective because of one for-profit private company.
(P.S. software dudes: please don't try to mansplain workarounds, believe me, a LOT of astronomers are working hard on this)
