This is the project I'm most proud of so far this year: Linkin Park cushion

Made as a gift, I designed the pixel art pattern and used my own variation of the corner-to-corner method to make the squares smaller

Approx 60x60cm, with a progress photo (and a hint of Lucy ๐Ÿพ) for scale

My latest illustration for the Geological Society of Australia's magazine, for their special issue on the recent Aus Earth Sciences Convention

From your conference experiences, who am I missing?

Delighted to find out the S.A. Museum has added the "PLEASE TOUCH" sign I hoped for, so visitors to the Waterhouse Natural Science Art exhibition know Chronovarium is interactive! (Among the "do not touch" signs)

Also delighted to find out about it because some of my family visited the exhibition today โค๏ธ

#BakedBeansOwl time!
You remember how I said Beans is small?
Well here's a banana for scale

I've recently been experimenting with designing my own crochet patterns for friends' baby gifts, after asking them to pick an animal ๐Ÿงถ These two offered a chance to modify and refine!

Late last year I made the duck ๐Ÿฆ† and today the goose went to its new home ๐Ÿชฟ

I still draw comics sometimes - this one is for @vanessa and @elizabethtasker, inspired by an opinion piece on making AI assistants more useful (by watching you work)

This fantastic interactive art piece from @bluerehn and Nellie Pease is on display at the South Australian Museum, or you can check it out online at https://chronovarium.com/.

Chronovarium encourages you to change boundary conditions, see how the landscape changes, and then 'collect' your core.

Here's mine - you can see the process from grassland to wooded area, to rainforest, to swamp, to jarrah forest, and the decisions I made along the way!

Brilliant work Emma, and thanks for making it available online ๐Ÿ’š

Thrilled to announce that Chronovarium, my collab interactive artwork with Nellie Pease, is shortlisted for the Waterhouse Natural Science Art Prize!

Go on a deep time journey with Chronovarium - make choices to shape your own mini ecosystem and see the fossil traces left behind at http://chronovarium.com

As well as being a free online resource for science outreach and education, Chronovarium will be exhibited at the South Australian Museum from April to July this year
