It's the weekend! It's also the FINAL WEEKEND before IFComp 2025 wraps! Remember to get those final votes in. Also, if you are in a position to do so and have not yet contributed to this year's Colossal Fund, we're just a bit short of our stretch goal. Thank you! Have fun!

Our microgrants program is back for a third year! This year again, IFTF is looking to disburse $3,000 to cool projects related to interactive fiction that could benefit from a little bit of cash.

See announcement on blog.iftechfoundation.org for full details - please make sure you read the guidelines before applying. You have until November 15th, and the application form is here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdoe_3AqN36LZk0QzJKT8eVJv8F0B8tu0Sd6U6HC45xtbK_ig/viewform

IFTF 2025 Microgrant Application

Thank you for applying for an IFTF microgrant! More details on the program can be found at https://iftechfoundation.org/committees/grants/grants-guidelines/ but to summarize: We want to support projects that benefit a community of interactive fiction makers, players, educators, etc., rather than a single person: we're thus unlikely to fund things like individual travel grants or specific games. We especially love open-source, education, and preservation, but are open to a wide variety of interpretations of "community." We are awarding a total of $3000 in microgrants this cycle, with a maximum award per project of $1000. Applications will be open from Oct 10, 2025 to Nov 15, 2025. We expect to announce grant recipients in early 2026.
