Tried to talk myself out of it at the last minute but I went for a skate after work today. Got some nice reactions from folks driving by, an air high five and a thumbs up. I'm glad I got back out on the road in the sunshine.

Finally got the bulkhead door fastened into it's final position so I could apply caulk around the bottom edge this weekend. I was worried there might be a lot of little leaks, but after yesterday's rain it seemed to hold water out well! Much better than coming home to a puddle on the basement floor.

Still more work to do, but at least it's doing it's job now 👌

I'm thinking that #streaming will be the only way to interact with anyone interested in 6800 code disassembly for a #pinball machine. I'm having trouble self-motivating and having some folks looking over my shoulder and chatting about pinball would maybe help keep me focused.

Is there anyone who'd be interested in such a stream? It would probably be around 7PM Eastern on a week night.

Thank goodness for #docker it makes setting up software build environments almost effortless.

I'm getting spun up to build a simple simulator for Time Machine #pinball for PinMAME which will allow shooting shots with the keyboard by simulating the appropriate switch hits. The alternative is playing the switch matrix manually like a piano which isn't ideal.

This should allow me to get into the nitty-gritty of the code with PinMAME's debugger.

It was great to see OK Go at the Royale in Boston last night! Their last album came out when I was a freshman in college, so when I got an email from their newsletter out of the blue I had to get tickets.

We all love their music videos, and my wife shares them with her students in music class. She got to ask the group a question voted on by her students, so they'll enjoy the video I took of their answer as well.
