This is the rubber grommet against which the plunger link rests when the flipper is down. This one has seen better days. Fortunately this is one of the bunch for a penny parts in pinball. #pinball

Last night’s for funsies were a bit different. Nico got really into playing splits with Riku, so we got really late into even starting 😅
This time we did the for funsies game first, Gay 90s with your arms crossed. It was fun to watch, knowing I’m not the only one whose brain gets confused and accidentally presses the wrong button and loses the ball 😆 scores varied between 1000 and 2500 points.
Then we did the splits round, with only two teams because Topi didn’t want to play that. The game was Mousin’ Around. Nico and Joonas scored a little over 2 mil, Saku and Riku managed over 6 mil. It was mostly down to who got multiball on.
Normal round was left last this time, and our games were Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Playboy and NBA Fastbreak. I won Dracula only because I managed to flail the pity Mist multiball on my last ball, Joonas won Playboy with Topi a close second as they both got to Mansion Mania, and Topi won NBA with Saku on his heels, but none of us got any crazy scores on that.
It was a lot of fun, even though we didn’t finish until half an hour before we closed the arcade 😄

A player reported that Bond is repeatedly trying to get the drops reset but failing at that. At first I assumed I might have a cracked drop target or two, but this one was even odder.

Typically the low power coil sleever live forever. I've seen 80s games with original drop target reset coil sleeves in passable shape, this one somehow managed to shear its top part in just couple of years. The coil mounting hardware did not have any unusually sharp surfaces or anything and the coil didn't have excess movement when it fired. This just somehow had happened.

The good news was that this was one of those rare pinball fixes that just cost pennies.
