An old C64/128 fan from way back. Still have all the equipment (even SuperCPU, Ramlink, CMD HD and more) but no room to get it out currently and usually are on emulation with hopes of getting a space set up at some point.

I really don't know how normal folks maintain computer literacy on stuff like logins when the UX for logins changes drastically every year, usually just adding *new* login mechanisms.

Do you wanna login with a password? Or emailed one time code? Or texted code? or open your 2FA/TOTP app? or login with Google? or login with our custom app? Please create a passkey we are begging you my quarterly perf depends on you doing this. Forgot your password? Your new password can't be the same as your old password. Bring your device closer. We've sent a code to a device, somewhere, but don't share it with anyone. Enable notifications! Login with your face! Typing your password on your TV remote or maybe scan this QR code I guess and maybe that'll help?

There's a #Commodore #GEOS font with a lot of missing characters: https://www.lyonlabs.org/geofont/936/ ... but the mystery has been solved: it's only for making the Metallica logo!

As part of the 20th anniversary of the BBS Documentary's release, I've ripped the 3 DVDs that were included in the project and have them hosted at Internet Archive. These ISO files can be played in the VLC player like DVDs, and include all bonus features, subtitles, director's commentary, etc.

New issue of #Freeze64 has arrived! I always prioritise this over whatever is next in my read pile because it’s only 36 pages including the cover and always has great interviews with #Commodore64 developers. #RetroGaming

So it's nice and sunny out and the latest copy of Freeze 64 dropped through my letterbox.. so what better time to sit in front of an old c64 and have a read out of the sun 😎

Would be really good of this got some boosts for Vinny and the rest of the community. 👍

The Toronto PET Users Group had an amazing interview with Brian Dougherty.

Brian Dougherty was the founder of Berkeley Softworks, the company that developed the GEOS graphical operating system for the Commodore 64, C128, Plus/4 and the Apple II series of computers.
