An old C64/128 fan from way back. Still have all the equipment (even SuperCPU, Ramlink, CMD HD and more) but no room to get it out currently and usually are on emulation with hopes of getting a space set up at some point.

I agree as well. Take a look at the Brax3 phone. Best I have seen so far. Out of stock until next month or so though.

@benh
I do the same. I don't like their apps and the way they push them. Not to mention they are usually HUGE. I don't have the space anyway. I just use a web browser. Works fine, less space and complication. Or pushyness. But I make sure of the connection first.

I really don't know how normal folks maintain computer literacy on stuff like logins when the UX for logins changes drastically every year, usually just adding *new* login mechanisms.

Do you wanna login with a password? Or emailed one time code? Or texted code? or open your 2FA/TOTP app? or login with Google? or login with our custom app? Please create a passkey we are begging you my quarterly perf depends on you doing this. Forgot your password? Your new password can't be the same as your old password. Bring your device closer. We've sent a code to a device, somewhere, but don't share it with anyone. Enable notifications! Login with your face! Typing your password on your TV remote or maybe scan this QR code I guess and maybe that'll help?

oh and by the way your 20 character random text password doesn't meet our security policy because it is missing the character '$'

I couldn't agree more. It is crazy. But some sites refuse to do anything more than phone call or text message F2A. The banks I have won't add say 2FA/TOTP which I would prefer (using Keepass) and I wouldn't have to pay for.
@inlovewithpda Ah fellow newton user. :) Newton was my first as well. I got this later on as I loved GEOS and wanted to check the device out. The apps weren't near as good (those I used anyway) but the connectivity and sync blew away the newton on PC never understood why Apple didnt make that a top requirement at the start.
@inlovewithpda I have one of those as well, although a latter model. Great little device. Used it for several yeras. Even have the connection cable etc.
There's a #Commodore #GEOS font with a lot of missing characters: https://www.lyonlabs.org/geofont/936/ ... but the mystery has been solved: it's only for making the Metallica logo!

As part of the 20th anniversary of the BBS Documentary's release, I've ripped the 3 DVDs that were included in the project and have them hosted at Internet Archive. These ISO files can be played in the VLC player like DVDs, and include all bonus features, subtitles, director's commentary, etc.

Cool! I haven't had luck like that. But I do have that same C2N unit :)

Now, that just sucks. :)
