To exist online in 10 years, you're going to have to give a random company a face scan and photo ID and they're going to give that and everything you post to the government to spy on you for being queer, left-wing, "a criminal," or whatever. None of your data or communications will be private. The government and corporations will go through all of it.

If you don't want that to happen, you should raise a stink about "age verification" right now because that's what they're actually building.

As expected, the Qualcomm enshittification of @arduino has begun. Expressif's ESP32 stuff has already been a better platform for some time... I guess I'll have to learn the ESP-IDF ecosystem now instead of the Arduino IDE.

@datenwolf @nilspickert Boar hasse ich das, wenn man per Mail die Info bekommt, dass was neues im Online Postfach ist, man da auf die Nachricht klickt, dort steht „folgende Infos in der angehängten PDF“, dann ganz runter scrollen um die PDF runterzuladen.

Sometimes, my #firefox on #kde + #wayland gets into a state where copying anything, switching virtual desktops, and some other actions, makes it switch to a certain tab.

I have no idea how that is even possible, but it's very annoying, because I switch between virtual desktops a lot, and then have to search the right tab again.

Don’t use “Outlook (new)” in #Windows 11. I just did a tcpdump and looked also at my #mail servers when setting up an account in there. The mail client only spoke with Microsoft-servers, never with my mail-servers and I saw on my mail-servers only connections from Microsoft-IPs.
