@viticci do you think the compact mode will stay the default or do you expect backlash as with the floating bar on iOS 15?
Safari on iOS 26 as of now will have 3 tab bar styles. I used the center one on iOS 18 and feared that it was gone after it defaulted to the compact version.
Compact mode looks & feels great but it hides the share button and the address bar is just too narrow

Truly the end of an era where you could have free-shaped icons. :(
