🥾 #Hiked a new-to-me trail yesterday. The sun was bright, the snow was gone & the river was running fast. Walked 8KM along the #MillRunTrail by the #SpeedRiver in Cambridge (ON) & spotted the following birds:

🥾 Headed to the outskirts of #Cambridge (#Ontario) and got in three short #hikes. All three spots are hidden gems in the area.
#Bird sightings were almost nonexistent though. Still pretty excited to spot the birds that I did 👍.

Another day, another #hike. This time a 12KM hike along the #GrandRiver heading towards #StJacobs.

We weren’t expecting to see a family of #beavers sleeping on the river bank. That was pretty special! (Only had my phone for the picture 😕)
Just came back from my #FirstDayHike for 2023. Hiked 6.8KM along the #GrandRiver in #Waterloo this time.
What a difference a week makes! Snow is all gone!
The #Birds were quiet but we did spot the odd one out there along with some other critters:

Canada Geese (so many flying over!!)
Ring-billed gulls

The #beavers have certainly been busy though!

After yesterday’s windstorm that ushered in a wet cold front, the sun was a welcome sight this morning.
We all thought #Netherlands was already great for #cycling but they're about to get better.
Yesterday the Dutch government announced it will invest ONE BILLION euros in cycling.
€1,000,000,000
To be spent on new cycling routes, more #bike parking and more bridges and tunnels.
