Updating Xcode on both of my computers in preparation to begin my #ios course/journey tomorrow. Why does Apple make this such a pain?

Tomorrow (Dec 31) is the last day to apply for the Q1 2023 cohort of The Collab Lab! πŸ“†

Collab Lab is a free program designed to help early-career developers/bootcamp grads land their first job in tech by teaching the collaboration skills used by professional software teams. πŸ’ͺ

If you know someone who’s working hard to break into tech, please consider passing this along to them! πŸ™

We’re running teams in North American time zones only this cohort, but will be back in Europe/Africa (& hopefully Latin America, in Spanish) in Q2. 🀞

Very proud/happy/relieved to have finished writing the final module in the http://web.dev Learn Accessibility course today! πŸ₯³

It's bittersweet since I don't have an excuse to hang out with @[email protected] & @[email protected] now, but thankful for their time & the opportunity 🫢

He talked about electric cars. I don't know anything about cars, so when people said he was a genius I figured he must be a genius.

Then he talked about rockets. I don't know anything about rockets, so when people said he was a genius I figured he must be a genius.

Now he talks about software. I happen to know a lot about software & Elon Musk is saying the stupidest shit I've ever heard anyone say, so when people say he's a genius I figure I should stay the hell away from his cars and rockets.

Looks like we'll be running classes on Performance and RSpec testing for the Ruby Learning Center (https://rubylearning.dev) starting early next year.

More details to follow.
