When it comes to #pain relief, (prescribed, managed) opioids>> hash or concentrates of indica>>other forms of cannabis>>tylenol, aspirin, or advil

And each > is a factor of ten like the Richter scale.

I know people mean well & I'm not angry w/ individuals as none really understand people with #chronicpain until it happens to us, but nothing sinks me more than hearing, "You seem fine." My pain may be invisible to you, but this reduces my physical perceptions to your limited observations.

My MDs & NP, MRI & EMG scans, 3 ganglion block injections, 2 cortisone shots, massive rX record, general surgeon, plastic surgeon, pain clinic docs, 3 neurologists, neurosurgeon & daily life all disagree.

Having one of those days where not only is my pain high but my frustration is nearly as high.

It's been 3 years since my #shingles outbreak that led to the #phn #neuralgia that has caused me pain 100% of the time since;

It's been 15 months since a pinched nerve led to diagnoses of #foraminal #stenosis #degenerativediskdisease & resulting peripheral #neuropathy.

It's a day where I need to shout into a void that I am fucking sick of this & am not coping well atm. Sorry to rant but I needed to.

Remember, though you may not see a person's #chronicpain or their #disability, it doesn't mean they aren't suffering.

Pain is often invisible, but is unfortunately all too real.

Trust those suffering, and respect their wishes and needs.
