Does anyone who has hosted some have advice for things to do when starting out like what tools to bring for the first day or how to manage expectations when someone brings something that i definitely cannot fix?

@exchgr Ive had things in my fridge for so long I forgot I bought them...but the taste remained unchained and I wonder if spoilage is a feature not a bug...
