Haven't posted in a while, but I'm happy to announce my final chapter of my PhD thesis, "How far to build it before they come? Analyzing the use of the Field of Dreams hypothesis to bull kelp restoration" was published!

This has been my biggest research-wise challenge so far, but it's so nice to see it finally published. It's also an example of what I hope my research will look like moving forward.

I have a #numerical ly #unstable #stochastic #DifferentialEquation that I need to solve. The drift term by itself is numerically #stable

Anybody has #tips on how to solve the #SDE? Maybe choose a simpler diffusion term?

Is it too much for #reviewers to ask to cite papers that were published while the manuscript is under review?
