#introducton

I guess I get how Mastodon works now. Hi everyone! I'm Jorge, I'm a recent #PhD graduate from #UCDavis. I work on #TheoreticalEcology, developing #models to increase #ecological understanding and assist #management decisions in #aquatic ecosystems.

My #dissertation focused on studying the #complex #dynamics of the #KelpForest. I'll soon move to #phytoplankton and #MachineLearning, excited to see where that takes me.
