@bcrypt - The very starting point in the current #Mastodon platform seems to get new users talking about that immediately, myself included.
I loose my attention almost immediately when presented with an arbitrary flow of posts completely unrelated to each other and not possible to group or filter or make sense of in any fashion (as the local/federated timeline columns work ATM).
@bcrypt - So I myself would like to discuss the challenges of dealing with #InformationOverload, for example, but how do I "promote" myself as one interested in that topic for newcomers?
How do you find me if you were interested in the same? The lack of exploration features makes most of us start talking about the functionality of #Mastodon immediately...
I think #Mastodon just might be THE thing the world needs to evolve into the next stage of #SocialMedia, if we make a good #MastodonStrategy
