βvilifying the rich.β Bro, you're
one of the richest people
on earth and 1/3 of your
warehouse workers rely on
government assistance for
basic needs like food and rent.
You ARE the villain.
End corporate socialism now!
Poverty benefits paid to employed people should be recovered from the employer (with a mark-up to act as a deterrent). In such a way that the individuals involved can't be identified, of course - the employer just gets billed a total amount each year. If they challenge it the court can look at the details but not pass them to the employer (and the employer has to pay pending challenge).
Amazon workers should unionize.
I shudder to think what Bezos must be doing to avoid it.
Those billionaires are never pro-unions.
@joewo What insanity for the Capitalist system to channel a gigantic part of the wealth created by the workers into the pockets of just a few people.
And to keep doing this far far beyond any need for more money for this few.
TBH I don' tcare about him being mega filthy rich.
I care very much though about him being a depraved, rotten to the core lying fascist who exploits pepole and the environment.
He must be prosecuted for his crimes in the Nuremberg 2.0 Trials.
Imagine if warehouse workers could decide to work for another company instead of just having only the opportunity to work for exploits π€
Bezos and alike would go broke.
That'd be great.
I recall an italian(?) factory somewhere where they just did this. Afaik they're successful and their biz is thriving.
β
The 1% are weird.
They expect people to express gratitude as they are mistreated.
They expect deference to the cruelty.
They expect cooperation as they fry the planet & destroy democracy.
They demand & get impunity for public corruption & violations of human rights.
"Lacking self-awareness" doesn't begin to cover these folks' borderline personality disorders; hoarding, pathological lying, psychopathy, narcissism, egotism, self-absorption, greed, venality, & moral turpitude.
He's so soft from eating so well. Or that's booze bloat. And that open collar and diamond stud necklace is paving the way nicely for the Bezotacular pooka shell necklace summer he's planning fir himself.
Jeff truly believes if he steals and hurts enough it will make him taller and feel less hairless.
@joewo amazing...the PR machinery that churns these narratives. They went to the extent of making him look old and wise with white hair and and unshaven face.
The gall of these people. They must have had a laugh after the interview mocking the public.
I hope people remember this the next time they jump on Amazon to go shopping and send this villain more money
@joewo The rich are per definition the "villains"
There is no soul on Earth who makes that much money honestly
They are all thieves
oh poor Jeff. So rich yet so fucking poor.
Well, you gotta vilify 'em because you can't eat them Being so rotten, they would taste pretty nasty.
Tax the fucker.
Hard.
And then tax him some more.
@joewo The 1/3 figure comes from a report by University of Illinois Chicago in 2024.
Highlights:
* 53% of workers experienced one or more forms of food insecurity in the previous three months.
* 48% of workers experienced one or more forms of housing insecurity in the previous three months.
* More than half (56%) have not been able to pay all their bills without a remaining balance in the previous three months.
* One-third of workers (33%) have used one or more publicly funded assistance programs in the previous months, including 23% who have used the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
* Taking time off due to the health impacts of working at Amazon is linked with greater economic insecurity. For example, 60% of those taking unpaid time off due to pain or exhaustion from working at Amazon report one or more forms of food insecurity, versus 36% of those who have not taken time off.
He can't axshullee admit he digs murder and violence as a lifestyle or it ruins the fun of snorting rails off the edge of the 24k plate of roasted baby seal sprinkled in blood diamonds and calling it 'dinner'.
Jeff Death.
There is a level of accretion of wealth where an extra dollar doesn't buy you anything extra, and only serves as violence against others.
Billionaires are anti-utility monsters.
Act like a cartoonish super-villain, you get called one.
no one can vilify billionaires better than the billionaires themselves.
off with their heads, and distribute their wealth to everyone making minimum wage - or less.
actually, it's the billionaires who are eating people - it's in the epstein files.

@joewo lordy, it sure looks like he's had some work done to plump up those cheeks, get a bit of a chin tuck, do something with his eyes, and probably some dermabrasion... Makes sense, these jerks are all about appearances, because they have nothing inside but self loathing Seriously, they all have the depth of goldfish*, and all of that depth is spent in two ways: to exploit more and to delude themselves that they are good humans.
Sorry goldfish.
