Trump and the GOP are trying to cancel or cripple the mandated National Climate Assessment.
I was lead author on the water sector report of the very first one, in 2000. There have been 5 so far, all improving our understanding of the serious threats of #climate change to the United States.
This action won't make those threats go away. It'll just make us blind to the coming consequences.

A reminder that just a handful of Republicans in the Senate and House could join with Democrats to overrule Trump's "Executive Order" and end the economic disaster of these tariffs TODAY.
That Republicans won't is just one reason why they should be obliterated in 2026.
We need to make them fear voters more than they fear Trump.
