Sanctions were once sold as a gentler foreign policy tool for exerting pressure on dictatorships and terrorist organizations. Yet measures like banning individuals from having bank accounts or traveling are increasingly used to chill free speech in Europe.
Ron ChusidI'm all for protesting against Trump but it is also necessary to protest against the Democratic establishment which does nearly the same with nicer rhetoric. Those protesting today should've protested when Biden/Harris were also attacking democracy & civil liberties, supporting genocide & endless wars and crippling public health.
