Discovering that Elon Musk was impersonating his mother on twitter (and, judging from the phrasing, his father too) really highlights both that
- capitalists have free time to engage in pathetic antics like this because they are utterly irrelevant to economic production, and
- the grotesque inequalities of wealth and power we experience have not managed to make the ultra-rich like Musk happy, either.

See also Steve Jobs, and a great many of the hyper wealthy. Sure, well adjusted folks are sometimes useful and get taken along for part of the ride, but theyโre exceptions.

And billionaires, who we're expected to believe work a thousand times harder than anyone else so deserve their pay, somehow find time to post every waking hour of every day of the year, with Elon, Trump and Mark Cuban searching for any post mentioning them to boost or argue with.
Also Musk was found larping as one of his own kids on social media too so it seems the only way he can find voices that genuinely support his world view are if they're his own.
