Discovering that Elon Musk was impersonating his mother on twitter (and, judging from the phrasing, his father too) really highlights both that

- capitalists have free time to engage in pathetic antics like this because they are utterly irrelevant to economic production, and

- the grotesque inequalities of wealth and power we experience have not managed to make the ultra-rich like Musk happy, either.

@HeavenlyPossum one might very well posit that the things that drove him to become so very rich (and too do the vast array of awful things it takes to make that happen), are part and parcel of a deeply troubled mental state.
