I hear a lot of people complaining about their spouses doing everything wrong.

But has your spouse ever invited the press to your home to give a speech on The Epstein Files, right after you spent 22 billion to bomb an entire country to get the press away from talking about The Epstein Files?

If not, maybe cut your spouse some slack.

@geos @Pinchy63 @randahl No, I mean model as in a young woman who makes money by having photos taken of her. Real models, not "models". But the whole modeling industry in the 90s was based on exploitation of girls and young women. They were from poor countries and they "hung around with creeps" in the hope of having a glittering career, or maybe marrying a rich man as both Melania and the Brazilian model I'm talking about did.

I don't think Malaria was a real model, whether she knew it or not. She seem to fit your latter description.

I think it is impossible to have run in the crowd she did and not know what was going on. It is notable that she made the point to say she was not a victim of Epstein. If not, is she a co-conspirator like Maxwell, or someone who was just willing to keep her mouth shut in exchange for the right benefits?

@geos @Pinchy63 @randahl Think what you want, but she was a professional model who was paid for that work, appeared in magazines and the like. Not a supermodel, but a pro. Some of that work was illegal: she was paid as a model while in the US on a tourist visa. That kind of practice was common and part of the way the owners exploited the models (by threatening to report them if they didn't comply).

Epstein got rich initially by managing money for the owner of Victoria's Secret, home of the top models in the world. The whole modeling industry at the time was corrupt.

It’s like her ex used his influence with the corrupt to make her suffer— not realizing that the pin they just pulled was on the grenade they’d been trying to hide for decades… “Hell hath no fury…”
