@Mrfunkedude it's true. and there are many times i type out a reply to something and then i delete it because it's a pointless thing to say, or if it is worth saying, it might not be worth replying and so i just send my own toot without bothering others.

@MrAndrewD @Mrfunkedude I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're refering to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.

"<Thing> applys to all <members of certain group>"
Then i find it valid to reply with something like:
"I beg to differ, i am a <member of certain group> and <Thing> does not apply to me."
Since this would be part of the discussion.
