Top: Aug 26, 2025: The White House, an extension to either side, and a verdant expanse with copses of trees to the south.
Bottom: May 28, 2026: The East Wing and its southern garden/copse are gone, and foundations are visible for a much larger construction. South of the White House proper, the lawn has been covered by what appears to be a giant sandpit, with semicircular hoops embedded in it crosswise.

Zeigt glaub die fünf kleinen fünfblättrigen Blütchen einer Zwerghauswurzart, die in fünf Richtungen zeigen.
Obwohl die Farbe der Blütchen an Gänseblümchen oder Margerithen erinnert, sind sie an einem oder zwei roten Stielchen und haben noch ganz viele kleine schwarze Stempelchen ringförmig um die mitte des Blütenkranzes angeordnet.

I thought, surely that photo is #AIslop, but given the source is Radio Canada (I.e. the CBC) … is it real? If so, it' s horrifying.
#alt4you many people, in uniforms of black pants and various hats, hold up a very long, white banner. Their faces are hidden by white scarves. The banner reads: "Je me souviens un Québec blanc." (I remember a white Quebec)* with fleur de lys.
* "Je me souviens" (I remember) is the Quebecois slogan printed on millions of Quebec licence plates.

Le souvenir d'un rayon de soleil venant de persiennes entrebaillées : dans cette lumière dansaient des milliers de petits grains qu'enfant je prenais pour des microbes ; j'avais cru voir des corpuscules que l'on disait invisibles à l'œil nu ; le filigrane de l'atmosphère des lieux m'était révélé.
