@volpeon Ok, they’re a little weird, but a friend brought one filled with an orange pastry cream and topped gamache and chocolate crumb. It was delicious.
(And as a pro-baker, it was imaginative and interesting.)

@volpeon I once watched a video about how they make those things and was a bit disappointed that it simply is regular croissant dough, rolled and laminated over and over in the usual fashion, and then just placed into a cubic form (including a lid) for baking. I had somehow expected something more convoluted.
