On waking this morning, all 3 of my Readiness apps suggested that today was going to tricky! EliteHRV noted a slight Sympathetic Swing and told me to 'take it easy' today - Easier said than done as a busy teacher 🙏

Had to stay late at work, marking mock exams.

It's 6pm and I'm ten @visible_health
PacePoints ahead of my (heartrate-based) daily energy budget...

& I'm at my @KiActiv (movement-based) daily limit too.

Feet feel 'heavy' - a sign of #PEM starting.

I had been symptom-free for THREE MONTHS 🙏

No gym visit today. RESTING to aid recovery and to avoid full-on debilitating #LongCovid #PostExertionalMalaise symptoms 🙏

Lying here in bed at 0745 I feel fine, but my #VisibleHealth data reveal otherwise 👇

#EliteHRV provides an additional insight:

Readiness for the day ahead is just 2 out of 10. Sympathetic Nervous System dominating. To avoid compromising my immune system or over doing it, extra rest is highly recommended...

And EliteHRV perhaps gives me an indication of EARLY WARNING SIGNS that I maybe could have spotted on Sunday morning - 2 days ago 🤔

Note to self:

1. Watch for sudden drops in Mean RR Interval

2. Watch for big drops in PNN50

Both are signs of reduced Parasympathetic activity.

I've slowed down & RESTED since 3pm - i.e. for almost 6 hours now.

#KiActiv (movement) data confirms that I've kept within my 'energy envelopes' of 4000 daily calories & 60 minutes of 'Moderate' movement.

But my HR was racing since the Assembly & I've only recently got it down to resting pace 🙏...

...and with my heartrate soaring over 140bpm during my 15-minute Assembly this morning (which was very enjoyable and went down very well, I should say!)

Here's the bottom-line:

I'm ending the day 27 @visible_health PacePoints over-budget.

But I've got another 10 hours' rest ahead of me 🙏

After 13 hours of REST I'm Ready for Thursday - & it's my busiest work-day of the fortnightly school timetable.

Five 1-hour lessons to teach (starting with my 3rd & final 'Biscuit Game' - see previous impact in thread above👆

With 7.5 hours of sleep on top, I'm hoping to have my body 'Back In Balance' before work tomorrow.

And I've ended the day just 4 minutes of 'Moderate' exertion over my nominal '60 minutes' limit.

Movement-wise I've paced well.

Heartrate-wise (and therefore #Visible Pacepoints-wise) I'm well over-budget.

It's a full-time job in itself monitoring my heartrate and heartrate variability (HRV).

But it's worth it, as it means that I have managed to keep working, despite the damage caused to my body by the SARS-Cov-2 virus 🙏

Friday morning at 0615:

Visible Health data show my decline Monday into Tuesday and then gradual recovery to today.

Stability regained after last weekend's overexertion...

...and with EliteHRV confirming excellent balance between my body's Parasympathetic and Sympathetic Nervous Systems (9 out of 10 Readiness for Friday) and KubiosHRV showing my highly-desired 'Normal' Readiness (neither too high nor low) today should be an easier day 🙏
