At the same time, I don't want to downplay how important it Definitely is for us all to be looking out for opportunities for change when and where we can. If we could all do everything it would be wondrous indeed. I just hope people are encouraged to do what they can, when and where, even outside perfection ;) .

Loohoosaher@jensorensen I don't understand how so many people seem to have lost their moral centre when it comes to this stuff. Especially the almost effortless choice to avoid Amazon, or try out non-commercial social media.
I know of otherwise good people who won't even bother to boycott a single corp, despite everything they know. You won't catch me praising Kant, but even if you truly think the it's hopeless (it's not), where's your sense of what's right?

It's extremely difficult to find USA made products or even North America/Mexico made products, but I thought it was important for me to put my money where my mouth is too. I get all my jeans from Dearborn Denim, and I very happy with my boots and sneakers from Thursday Boots.
RandomHayBale@jensorensen I see the point of this cartoon but honestly it smells like victim blaming and eitherway it won't achieve anything without systemic change. Why don't you leave academia/news agency (examples) to maintain integrity? Well for example maybe because you have loans or family that depends on the money. And eitherway you will be replace by somebody without the moral spine. Calling for personal actions is just pointless and actually pretty bad.
