I've just connected to Mexico City's public WiFi—no password or captive portal required. The network, 'CDMX-Internet para Todos', is surprisingly easy to access. Looks like I might not need the full 3GB from my eSIM after all.

was your train delayed? mine was, i think because of the snow and/or fog

@QuadRadical I had 5 minutes to get from my GWR train on platform 10 to the Heathrow Express on platform 7. My train was on time the whole way, but slowed down as we approached Paddington and pulled in 5 minutes late. The Heathrow Express was 7 minutes late leaving, so it was all good. My flight isn't until 12:45.

@QuadRadical Sorry to hear that. Hopefully not too much of a delay. At least if you are delayed by 15 minutes more you can claim some money back.

Did you book a specific train ahead of time? I've avoided booking a return GWR train from Paddington because I'm not sure when my flight will land and how long exiting Heathrow will take.

@edward At least 30 minutes late, probably. We (me and family) will be seeking the partial refund. Yep we booked all trains in advance, plane got in perfectly, etc... Not had too many issues on that end, usually I just get issues with GWR.

@QuadRadical Being late is annoying, but being just under 30 minutes late would be even more annoying.
