@samiamsam @gregggonsalves Thanks to the polio vaccine I never got ill with polio.
Keeping it away from people having their physical health protected is potentially negligent bodily injury, which should lead to victims of that official (insane) negligence joining & take to class action in courts.

I heard an interview with him, such a beautiful human being. He would be deeply disturbed to hear this.
Evil indeed… needs prosecution.
On the possible revocation of the polio vaccine, let’s not mince words:
Moves like this, if they come to pass, will quickly void the social contract. I do not say it lightly. Ineptitude is one thing, but when a government actively endeavors to make the people unsafe, then sovereignty no longer belongs to the state.
My father contracted #polio at twenty. He was triaged expectant. A year in the iron lung. He lived fifty more years without the use of his legs. Post-polio syndrome in later years.
What will Offit say?
@gregggonsalves Takke kankerlijer. Krijg de pokke.
My apologies for not having the Dutch grammar right- I believe this is second person, not third- but by God I mean every word of the vocabulary.
Fucking stupid really
Antivaxxer ideology is the kind of evil that kills children in droves & disables millions.
So much for the fake "pro-life" policy positions of Republicans.

@gregggonsalves The older brother I never met died from polio a year before the vaccine was developed.
He didn't live beyond his fourth year of life.
Here's to the new government program to save children from being shot; let them die from polio then they won't get shot. Unless, they don't die and are then stuck with impossibly large medical bills that won't be paid by insurance.
Great job to the Trump campaign.
@gregggonsalves
I wrote both my Senators:
The NYT reports that RFK Jr's lawyer has asked the FDA to revoke approval of the polio vaccine.
What an incredibly damaging proposal, should that actually occur.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. must not be approved for any position within the Federal government,
especially the FDA.
Also, the national conversation about health insurance appears to have shifted recently.
Continuation of the campaign to bring about a single-payer solution for healthcare would
likely meet with approval from more of the populace than previously.
With best wishes for success in these challenging times,
@gregggonsalves My dad's father was the youngest of 14. Only 4 of them made it to adulthood because of polio. His case was mild but he developed Parkinson's disease which has a correlation with surviving polio. His sister survived with multiple health problems and spent most of her life getting fluids suctioned out of her lungs.
I don't want to go back.
@gregggonsalves
I grew up with the specter of an uncle who died of polio in 1947 at 5 years old.
There is no level of hell deep enough for these rat-bastards.
@gregggonsalves I grew up in Brazil in the 80s, one of my earliest memories is of a coworker of my mom who survived polio in her childhood, but was left with several disabilities because of it.
You can be damn sure my mom made me take all the shots.
