I made some #LoMaiGai wraps. I couldn't get lotus leaves so used banana leaves instead.
I used the leftover #GlutinousRice to make a separate dish- #StickyRice with #ChineseSausages & preserved minced mustard stalks.

@PhoenixSerenity I may still not remember the name but when I was served LoMaiGai, I wasn't told what it was called.

I worked with a mix of SE Asians from all over the place who generously shared their food but didn't always cross the language barriers.

Thanks for putting a name to it!

@gooba42 We make 3 different versions of lo mai gai at home. We enjoy eating sticky rice 😊
@PhoenixSerenity Yeah, I just didn't have anybody to even ask anymore about "sticky rice in, I think it was a lotus leaf? And maybe it had some meaty bits in it... It was good, whatever it was!"

@gooba42 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lo_mai_gai

It usually has chicken & an egg in it but many people make their own versions, depending on personal taste & what's available at home/at the market.
