@arstechnica what a pathetic tiny tiny man...
@arstechnica "Dumbass doesn't understand capitalism. More at 11."

@arstechnica

Breaking: Rich monopolist sues, claiming he is entitled to your money no matter how much you hate his product.

#NotSatire

@arstechnica

As per usual Elon is talking total bollocks.

@arstechnica
* laughing uncontrollably *
Whatever happened to the virtues of "free markets" these capitalists keep yapping about...?
@arstechnica
"Yaccarino also sought to gain support from X users in a video message. "These organizations targeted our company and you, our users," she said."
ET TU, YACCARINUS??
@arstechnica I'm excited to see how his reverse class action against people who haven't purchased a Tesla will go.

@arstechnica

Guy is dumb as a stump.

His lawyers will make out like bandits until this is tossed though.

@arstechnica War on the people you want to buy from you. That's a novel business strategy
@arstechnica yeah, suing your customers because they don't like you, well, not a real promising plan.
@arstechnica He's really trying to force people to go shop at a place they don't want to shop at - he's so weird. How would that even work?
@arstechnica he never means it until he does
@arstechnica Deciding not to advertise on a given platform, especially one harmful to your brand, is absolutely a free speech issue.
If Xitter was run like a real company, and not one toddler's personal fiefdom, the board would fire Musk for destroying their revenue stream.
@arstechnica Elon is such an absolute clown 🤡
@arstechnica Free speech absolutist: freedom for me but not for you.

@arstechnica "actual damages in an amount to be determined at trial."

That will be the only interesting information here. Breath taking nonsense. Wouldn't it even qualify as an 'abuse of process'?

Abuse of Process - The Basics and Practicalities | Stimmel Law

Our legal system is a powerful tool and the ability to use it to redress wrongs is a cherished right of the average American. Even in the 19th Century Americans were famous for enjoying the use of the courts and employing them far more than the average European. Unlike most of the world, our courts are a powerful branch of our State and Federal governments and remain the most vital arena to protect individual liberties. @arstechnica So - will I get sued by Musk if I buy a Honda instead of a Tesla?
@arstechnica When did we arrive at the place where the "invisible hand" is obligated to do what anybody says?

@arstechnica Musk is an abuser and this lawsuit is an example of the tactics he uses in relationships as well as in business.

"If you don't love me I will kill you"

@arstechnica AHHHH, there it is. The classic genre of “ “Conservatives” just love the free market until the free market stops wanting to buy their shit. THEN they love regulated markets.”
@arstechnica I have also been boycotting, both using the site and advertising on it, and therefore I'm going to countersue for not being named in the suit
@arstechnica I can't wait for the Legal Eagle episode on this one... I bet the lawyers for these companies are gonna have fun.
Well, all except the lawyers working for Twitter. No way to win there.
@arstechnica we never care about you, elon
@arstechnica The only way I can see the boycott be illegal is if the had an agreement that didn't have a "fuck this I'm out" clause that would allow advertisers to stop providing their services. Which is unlikely, and definitely something Elon's team would have acted upon much earlier.
@arstechnica But everyone said this guy was smart!
@arstechnica Maybe he’s creating material for a Netflix Comedy Special. I hear he also interviewing Truno next week? Should be a real knee slapper 🤣
Fucking weirdos

@arstechnica

Failing to mention that the suit has some merit under anti-boycott law, and that Musk et al successfully forum-shopped themselves to a notorious right-wing Texas judge, is reporting malpractice.
