@GottaLaff
The implications of that are like...good.
Sooner rather than later.
It would not solve the huge fascist threat, but it would take a major catalyst out of the mix.
Much as i'd like to see him shackled in an orange jumpsuit that is taking soooo long.
Harry Caray was dead before he hit the ground.
@traffopost @GottaLaff 30 seconds is WAY too long to pause for dramatic effect. That's a standard length for TV and radio commercials. If you were watching a show and they had a 30-second period of dead air during a commercial break, you'd (rightly) think something had gone very wrong with the broadcast.
Trump is incapable of coherent adlibbing. He just babbles bits of stock phrases when he gets lost. That he didn't even do that this time is alarming.
The "long pause mid-speech" syndrome of a stroke or dementia seems to be contagious within the GOP.

After the 2nd occurrence for McConnell, he resigned as Senate Minority Leader.
I guess it's very stressful when an election will determine whether investigations into your Russian funding proceed or not.
Fingers crossed the same happens for Trump.

@GottaLaff. "Probable #Dementia" as #psychologist #JohnGartner calls it.
Here is a chart in my #memoir about my father's early-onset #Alzheimer's, written with #neurologist Dr. Bruce Miller, detailing the different kinds of #aphasia, where the "assault," as #doctors call it, first starts in the #brain, and the #diagnosis.
@cindyweinstein Sorry, but I don't support armchair diagnoses.
I've cared for many loved ones with Alzheimer's. He doesn't appear to have it, but I have no idea. So I don't speculate.
@GottaLaff I gotta say, some of the defenses from the right are just chefkiss
"He's deliberately pausing for effect! Because he's a gifted orator!"
"He's overcome with sadness about the state of the country he loves so much!"
"He's pausing to let the beautiful music underscore his point!"
These people live in a state of hardened denial. I'm not sure they'd be moved even if trump loudly and visibly soiled himself on stage. (Sorry for the mental image)
What is 'Trump's Glitch' is nothing more than a pause to fill his diaper; a simple sympathetic response to what is emanating from his teleprompter.
