Texty the Bard@traffopost @GottaLaff 30 seconds is WAY too long to pause for dramatic effect. That's a standard length for TV and radio commercials. If you were watching a show and they had a 30-second period of dead air during a commercial break, you'd (rightly) think something had gone very wrong with the broadcast.
Trump is incapable of coherent adlibbing. He just babbles bits of stock phrases when he gets lost. That he didn't even do that this time is alarming.

We need to stop pushing the cognitive decline stuff (which is always going to be pure speculation) and start pushing the fact that he’s a money launderer for oraganized crime (which is provably documented). Start pushing the fact that Trump’s policies caused all the price inflation of the last 4 years.

I've cared for many loved ones with Alzheimer's. He doesn't appear to have it, but I have no idea. So I don't speculate.
@GottaLaff. I get it. I find Dr. John Gartner's conversations with Salon's Chauncey DeVega very illuminating on this topic. You probably know this already but the doctor has a petition going with many healthcare professionals sounding the alarm.

Totally anecdotal and I am the furthest thing from a #neurologist, I have to say listening to him (esp. when he says a wrong word & tries to pretend that he hasn't) resonates to a tee with loved ones who have suffered from dementia. Also because everything he (and other #MAGAs say) is a projection, his obsession w/the #MCI & #Biden's cognitive health seems important.
