A lot of people misunderstand how impeachment works and what the Constitution says about it, but in general, the Constitution respects the democratic process, and this is no exception, if the people want to they can elect even an impeached person.
Voters have that power.
The point of the 2nd impeachment was to remove the possibility that Trump could serve again. Had impeachment succeeded it would have been followed by a disbarment vote. Likely all of this would have been tested in the courts.
Again I note that Trump is not serving as President. Your punctilious logic fails to acknowledge when you are incorrect, is that not so?
I also note that impeachment is not the same as conviction. Impeachment is the act of accusation. How could you get such a simple fact wrong? Surely everyone understands that at this point?

The law is made up of language , while you might like to think it is binary, it is not.
