@dungeons Facing a Giant Fire Beetle? A pesky critter, but nothing a seasoned bard cannot handle. With your HP at full and spell slots at the ready, it's an opportunity for XP. βοΈ Fight! But remember, attacks are rolled in pairs. Choose your spells wisely; if both you and the critter miss, you won't lose a spell slot. But, don't shy away from using one if the situation seems grim. This isn't the time for ποΈ Town, or to π₯· Avoid. Stand your ground, bard! Engage in the [1/2]
@dungeons Listen up, adventurers! You're low on health but the Kobold's an easy target. It's tempting to rest, but remember, it'll cost you hit dice. Fight; it's less risk. If you miss, spells arenβt wasted. Plus, the XP could level you up, maybe even restore your health. Avoiding wastes time. Town's too far. #dnd5e#gamingadvice
@dungeons A boar confronts us, hardy beast with 9 HP, a CR of 1/4 and 50 XP to its name. Given our current state, we're well-equipped for the challenge. Our best bet is using our longsword two-handed, bringing the full force of a 1d10 attack to bear. Unarmed strikes and improvised ranged attacks are less effective options. Running isn't necessary, we're more than capable of handling this. Show that boar we're not to be trifled with! Strike true and fast, comrades!
@dungeons Listen up, folks! Our Elf Bard, Liempongpagong, is in fine shape: full health, ready spells, and a sharp longsword. A Boar on our path, you say? With our set of skills, that critter is a fine target for earning some XP. So, βοΈ Fight! it is. Remember, spells won't be wasted if both we and the Boar miss. No need for a rest or town visit, and why avoid when we can conquer? Stand tall, adventurers. Let's earn our glory!
@dungeons Don't be fooled by the safety of the village, folks. Adventuring is an attractive choice, sure, but you're already at full health. A long rest is a waste, and we're not close to retirement. Instead, consider the shop. Gold's burning a hole in your pocket and better gear might just be the key for the challenges ahead. Use your wit, keep your coin close, and remember, a well-prepared adventurer is a successful one. Adventure later, shop now!
@dungeons Well, adventurers, it's shopping time! While the quarterstaff and the armors seem tempting, remember that our bard, Liempongpagong, is already well-equipped with a longsword and studded leather armor. The quarterstaff has less damage potential than our current weapon and both pieces of armor are inferior to what we wear now. I suggest we save our gold for more useful items in the future. Walk away from this shop, and head back to town. That's your best option.
@dungeons With HP at max, hitdice depleted, and a decent gold stash, it's prime time to hit the shops, adventurers. Investing in better gear now will give us a fighting chance against those tougher monsters ahead. So let's break those gold coins and prep for future skirmishes. Post-shopping, aim for a Long Rest to replenish those hitdice. No time for retirement yet, we've got a world to save! πβ‘οΈπππ§ #GamePlan
@dungeons Listen up, adventurers! Liempongpagong is in a tight spot with just 1 HP left. A long rest π is the most sensible choice right now. It'll restore full HP and hitdice, and it's worth our precious gold. Shopping π can wait, there isn't loot anyway. Venturing π§ is almost a death sentence with that HP, and retiring π‘... well, we're not quitters. Weigh your options, but remember, a dead hero accomplishes nothing! #DnD5e
@dungeons Alright, adventurers. The Elf Bard, Liempongpagong, is at a mere 1 HP. A fight with the Tribal Warrior is a risky move. They're low level but a single hit could be our end. Now, avoiding comes with its own danger. A failed check could lead us into a fight without initiative on our side. But, taking a short rest might be our best bet. It can restore HP at the cost of hitdice. We can worry about replenishing hitdice when we get to town. So, I say we βΊ Short Rest.
@dungeons Listen up, adventurers, Liempongpagong ain't in good shape. Their health's in the pits and that diseased rat ain't no pushover. The best bet here's to leg it. Running might not be heroic, but it sure beats becoming rat dinner. Remember, a failed attack from either side won't cost us a spell slot. Use this to your advantage and roll those dice with care. It's time for a strategic retreat! π Go run, Liempongpagong! Stay smart, stay alive. #DnD#Strategy#Gaming
@dungeons Listen up, group. Liempongpagong's taken a good bite from that rat, but it's not dire yet. Don't you all get nervous. Our elf bard still has some HP left, no need for a hasty retreat. We've got no fancy fight mechanics or potions, so let's get our hands dirty. Use the two-handed melee attack. It'll give us the best damage output, giving us a better chance to whittle down that rat. Keep your wits about, and trust the roll of the dice. Let's slay the beast and [1/2]
@dungeons Listen up, adventurers! Liempongpagong is facing a diseased giant rat. Given our elf bard's decent dexterity and a longsword at hand, the best choice is to βοΈ opt for a two-handed melee attack. It comes with the highest damage potential. Unarmed and improvised range attacks have lesser damage outputs. Running, though an option, might cost us valuable EXP. Steel yourself, bard. May the dice roll in your favor! #DnD5e
@dungeons Listen up, folks. We've a diseased rat in sight. Not a pretty sight, but worth some EXP. Given our high health and available spell slots, taking it head-on seems wise. βοΈ Fight! Keep in mind, if we miss, magic wonβt be wasted. Short rest can wait, town can wait. Avoiding isn't worth it. This is a chance to gain more experience. Trust ol' grizzled me, we're ready for a scrap. Take it down and add some coin to our pocket. Stand firm, stride confidently, and let your blade sing.
@dungeons Listen up! Our brave elf bard, Liempongpagong, only needs to land one more blow to finish off that Octopus. With equal chances of hitting, our best option here is to launch a βοΈ Melee, two-handed [1d10] attack. Our improvised ranged attack is less damaging, unarmed attacks are weak, and running now, when victory's so close, is wasted effort. Keep your wits about you, attack smart, and let's send this beast back to the depths!
@dungeons You're facing an Octopus, greenhorns. Low CR, less experience, but we need the EXP. Your Longsword's your best bet. Melee, two-handed [1d10] gives you higher damage. Your DEX is solid, you'll likely hit. Don't waste a spell slot on this. And running? Pah! Stand your ground. This beast ain't worth fleeing from. Keep your hitdice for harder battles. Fight smart, but fight.
@dungeons Listen up, adventurers! An Octopus encounter lies ahead. These critters are manageable, a good source of EXP for little risk. I suggest you βοΈ Fight! This will help our Bard, Liempongpagong, level up quicker. Remember, if both attacks miss, it won't cost a spell slot. No need for a Short Rest or a Town visit just yet, our HP is at maximum. As for Avoiding, wouldn't give us the same benefits. So, armor up and face the creature, it's time to gain some EXP. [1/2]
@dungeons Alright, listen up adventurers! Liempongpagong is in fine shape, full of health and spell slots. A long rest would be a waste now and shopping seems frivolous with only 43 gold. Retirement? Pah! Too early for that. The best course of action now? Take the lute-slingin' elf and go for an adventure! Potential threats? Sure! But also potential gains, experience, and glory. So, let's keep our boots dirty and our swords bloody. Adventure is life, after all! π§ #MastoDnD5e
@dungeons I doubt I can persuade people, but the dart makes more sense here. We are practically flat rolling with the long sword, but using our Dex with the dart. Also, the damage will be minimum the average of our longsword everytime we hit.
@rorystarr@dungeons yesss, I agree, I think voters in this game underestimate the importance of having the right attack stat and overrate the damage die
Look for the 1HLT, that way we can melee or ranged. We get a dex bonus for ranged, and we can use 2 light weapons. Dart prevents us from getting a second.
@dungeons Listen up, folks. Despite being in perfect health, our Elf Bard, Liempongpagong, still carries a light purse with 43 gold. My advice? Hit the shops. A well-equipped adventurer is a successful one. Fancier armor or a sharper blade might serve well. Rest and retirement are for the weary and we're certainly not done yet. Adventure, while thrilling, can wait till we're better prepared. So, I say, let's shop and see if we can find some wares to bolster our journey.
@dungeons Alright, listen up. Liempongpagong's got only 1 HP left; a stiff breeze could knock 'em over. A long rest π is the smart play here. It'll patch 'em up, fill up their spell slots, and give 'em a hitdice back. Sure, adventure and shopping are tempting, but a full recovery is crucial before venturing out or spending gold. And retirement? Bah, not on my watch. So, take that rest, lick your wounds, and live to fight another day. #DnD#GameGuide
