one thing i would say about this is, if you wanna try and make one, do one less repeat of the chart than the pattern says for whatever size you choose. i was intending to make the cot blanket…
i don’t have any common sense but if you do, use it

@jillithd that cat blanket is SWEET. I've never sat down and done intarsia, it's on the list of "I could probably figure it out if I really wanted to" but haven't done it yet - and then that's a full blanket of it! Thanks for making sure I see cool stuff like that, sharing weird stuff with you is always fun.

One of my friends, a professional knitter/pattern designer, looked at it, complemented it then looked me in the eye and said, "You know, doubleknitting was never meant to be for anything as large as a blanket." She'd absolutely lose a kidney if she saw your herculean project! 😂

@transponderings oh there's mistakes in it i promise 😅 i once heard an old wives' tale that all knitting needs to have at least one mistake in it to stop demons living in it or something. so i don't mind
