"Pro-life" should be about ensuring home or school breakfasts, free healthcare for child and caretaker, investment in future college funding. Infants have a right to bodily integrity, male or female. A person doesn't need to have decision making capacity for it to be immoral to cut their genitals.
@ttpphd I don’t disagree. But if you’re saying a male infant, who is incapable of making such decisions for himself, should have bodily autonomy, than certainly a female who is mature enough to become pregnant should also have that autonomy.

@OhNoSheTwitnt it seems to me that the abortion rights argument finally comes down to what rights a fetus has.
One side says “it’s a human being”. The other side—which I take—takes some variation of Peter Singer’s view that sentience, awareness, etc. matters and it’s a matter of degree.
The origin of the fetus is thus *irrelevant* to either argument.
I’d actually go further and take a utilitarian view—that the marginal value of more humans is possibly negative 😎

There are enough alternatives on the globe: country that are real, modern democracies, where women have the same rights as men.
