Even a broken clock is right twice a day. It's an old saying that reminds us that even stupid or unreliable people can sometimes be correct; or that flawed or malfunctioning things can occasionally produce correct results. It also presents the idea that chance or randomness can sometimes lead to accuracy, even in unreliable systems. It's often used to caution against placing too much trust in something just because it occasionally delivers the right outcome.

Just putting this out there: Distinction by geographic location of birth is a seriously outdated concept. The idea that someone is better or worse based solely on where they were born is fucking stupid. Anyone who says differently is also stupid.
