@gwensnyder I been a Twitter user from the time of the Green Revolution in Iran (2009) right up until Mr Musk decided to dis-allow 3rd-party apps - that was the proverbial last straw. I used the platform mainly to gather news from journalists and activists, so I'm not interested in "trending topics" or being served the bitching of right-wing malcontents. The platform has no purpose for me if I have to wade through trash.
