The most egregiously useless and overpriced of DLC content is still more of an honest "spend money for more gaming content" transaction than anything pertaning to microtransactions and virtual currency.

@BethanyBlack reddit was offering this new year snoo or whatever and I canceled it and it said, "are you sure? you won't be able to get it again." So I go to claim it and it says it's on the Blockchain and I have to make a password. I never closed a page so fast.

NFTs are a really cool technology, but oh my lord using them to sell pictures of monkeys is an awful use for them.
