Just arrived in San Diego and I’m wondering — what is this city’s most iconic moment??
To me it’s when all their fireworks went off at the same time but I’m open to other suggestions

Don't forget the biggest power outage in CA history. September HEATWAVE 2011.
I left town for that...
I wonder if I am blurring the two in my memory? All I really remember was it was unbearably hot.
kony 2012 ordeal, yes.
Should I not mention Heaven's Gate in 1997? Too late.
if I'd known, I'd thrown in with you-lol
Just looked it up. Hale-Bopp will be back in 4385. If we start saving now, maybe we can snatch up the next one. 💰 🤑

where to Vindaloo ---
Sundara, Sunset Cliffs Blvd.
Parking in the back.
Doesn't open til 5pm.
Craft beer, too.
Walk on the OB pier after dinner. Nice evening.
Taste of Himalaya in Hillcrest also good. University Ave. It’s closer assuming you're in the city.
Sundara guys have a cool story. If they’re not too busy, they’ll tell you about it. I like the vibe.

iconic, yes, that's the word.
I was in America Plaza. It was frightening for a bit until I figured out what it was, even then, still. The echos off the buildings in the Downtown Core. Yeah, it was a little scary.
Yeah, that was bizarre. 😀
@caseynewton the time when someone hijacked a tank and went on a joyride around San Diego?
