DisclosureHe/Him. Opinions are my own. You should have some, too. But maybe nice ones.

@siracusa Can recommend the PS portal. Got one during the 30th anniversary edition period. I had a couple of use cases - when my partner wants to watch something on the big TV, and recently when the baby was asleep on me, but I didn’t want a lot of noise in the background. The latter you’re past, but the former may apply.

Played all of Ghost of Yotei on it, no problems. 👍

@marcoarment & @caseyliss , you guys might like OAR (casey more than Marco) and Papadosio (Marco more than Casey) as well, hearing about your jam adventures. 🤙
@overcastfm probably already known, but the now playing widget blocks input to play a new episode.

@atpfm I was surprised no one mentioned the canonical example of pre-AI belief in a video that lied: Disney’s lemming “documentary” footage in White Wilderness.

@siracusa made an important purchase.

@atpfm fwiw:

1. PS4 pro - the modern giant, 4k
2. SNES - all time great for nostalgic memories
3. 360 - online innovation, controller
4. PS2 - games for everyone (titles were half the cost of Nintendo’s)
Honorable: Switch - the sum of all Nintendo’s vision: motion, portability, catalog & party play

@atpfm Broadly, I think John had the most correct top 4 consoles, but you all snoozed on the 360, not because of the hardware, but because it was the first console to really get online play and achievements nailed.
@siracusa Re: Apple being late to AI, it probably is a bit more fair to ding Apple here more than you are - we expect more from them precisely because they were early in key areas that drove innovation of major platforms. See: the mouse and visual desktop from xerox for the Mac and multi-touch for the iPhone.
@marcoarment Could your issues with the vision pro resolution clarity be due to the developing reading glasses discussion? I notice none of the problems you’ve described with mine, though admittedly, I use mine infrequently.
