An #introduction:

I'm Alex Hanna, the Director of Research for the Distributed #AI Research Institute. I'm a #sociology PhD who has been studying #tech and society for over 10 years. I'm involved in #labor and #trans organizing, and am currently Chair of Sociologists for Trans Justice. I sometimes teach at Cal #Berkeley. The rest of my free time goes to #RollerDerby -- I skate, announce, and sometimes referee with Bay Area Derby in #Oakland.

@alex Hi Alex! I just started listening to Mystery AI Hype Theater (from inception) and came to follow you. Amused to see that you're in the roller derby community. I've been a fan for a while, and my wife skated on the Santa Cruz "C" team for a couple of years. I'm sure I've been in the crowd at some BAD bouts where you announced, etc. in years past. Anyway, just wanted to say hey, and let you know that I'm enjoying the show archives. Keep up the good work!
