Got an #xbone recently and I have a few thoughts over it.

What I liked was #xbox's long term support for the platform. I can still play some new games and #gamepass.

What I didn't like was no offline accounts, and not being able to play disc games when their servers go offline.

Short (8 chapters) platform puzzle game with a fair amount of back tracking. I had to resort to a guide because one chapter has posters on the wall to guide you and they were impossible to read on the Deck. Still fun 👍#Gaming #ShareYourGames

Tore down the Xbone this evening. I'm not an expert by any means but I don't see where the issue is. Everything seems ok. Power brick is feeding steady power to the system, least the multimeter says so. Didn't find any breaks in the power supply as far as I could follow it. *SHRUGS* Oh well. I got it for free and the guy that gave it to me is not good with tech, made worse by being drunk most of the time. Amazing it lasted as long as it did, honestly. #Xbone #Gaming #VideoGames #ShareYourGames

Pour one out for my Xbox One, it seems. No response to controller, face press, or disc insert. Power brick is fine, outlet is fine.

Bummer.

I been thinking about upgrading but there hasn't been a reason to. None of the "next gen" only games so far have really appealed to me. Starfield was the first one that I had thought would be worth it, but after Redfall I have many questions.

I guess the Xbone biting the dust is a pretty good reason.

Trying something new.

Tinykin (#Xbone #GamePass) Play as Milo, scientist who discovers his world is not the origin of humanity and sets off on an adventure to find his "home".

TL;DR- This is a shortish cozyish indie game that's so influenced by Pikmin I expected to see a Nintendo Seal of Quality on it. It's a cute 3d platformer with cool hand drawn characters interacting with a 3d world. Check my Tumblr link for a long form review.

NORCO (#Xbone #GamePass) Text based point & click cyberpunk noir set in LA swamps. Kay has to figure out what her Mom was investigating when she died.

This is an odd story, but it's enticing. 8 hours to finish, I'm still pondering what the hell was going on. Pretty good music most of the game. Good writing, including the Cajun accents. Puzzles weren't super difficult, "combat" might be for those without great reflexes (you can set it to auto). #Gaming #ShareYourGames
