I have an overstuffed box file at home that contains a plethora of maps, gazetteer of towns, cities, hamlets, continents etc, descriptions of HUNDREDS of NPC characters (some former PC's) and reams of handwritten lore, history, politics, religion and mythology incl the entire pantheon of deities and custom home brew rules, creatures, spells and even some new classes for my long dead #DnD campaign.
A lot of it is contradictory, some maps don't fit into the overarching world setup correctly. Some towns/cities are illogically placed. So I've tried many many times to update it but it's a mammoth task.
#WorldBuilders .. do you build top down or bottom up? Start with the big picture and get finer and finer details? Or Start at the lowest level and build upwards??
