@simsus Das liegt auch an #Windows welches bis heute keinen brauchbaren #Paketmanager hat um z.B. #Updates und #Patches für Drittsoftware bereitzustellen...

Dementsprechend muss jede Applikation nen eigenen #Updater integrieren, was schonmal sicherheitshechnisch shice ist.

Hinzu kommt das #TechIlliterates jene #Updates abbrechen oder verweigern, weil #WindowsUpdates nunmal ne shice Experience sind!

Anders als unter jeder #Linux - Distro kann mensch nicht einfach währenddessen weiterarbeiten!!

OK, #Microsoft #Office #Updater, instead of staying stuck forever one second from completion, how about you WARN me somehow that the app was left open and needs to be quit before the update can complete, instead of showing that barely noticeable “App is open” blurb with no warning and no indication that you are waiting for some user action (namely my manually quitting the app)?
